I will probably never learn to touch type until I can pick up the keyboard.io Model 01. (Granted, a portion of my hand movement across the keyboard is probably because QWERTY sucks, and I haven't tried switching to Norman yet.) But holy crap, "proper" home row technique is awful about forcing your wrists to bend outward in the yaw direction, and you end up bending your fingers inward massively in order to get all four of your fingers - which are different lengths - to line up on the home row. I don't keep my fingers on the home row, and I have a lot more unnecessary hand movement over the keyboard because of it. Keeping your fingers on the home row while typing on a standard, staggered, non-split layout is awful. Hope this information was helpful and I wish you and your wallet the very best for the future!
